Open Loot Reward Points are a premium currency on Open Loot designed to facilitate the distribution of $OL tokens to our most engaged users.
The primary purpose of Open Loot Reward Points is to convert them into $OL tokens.
Open Loot Reward Points convert to $OL tokens at a rate of 100:1.
Your VIP tier calculation will take into account both your balance of $OL tokens and Open Loot Reward Points.
Open Loot Reward Points expire after two years. Be sure to convert them before then.
Open Loot Reward Points can only be converted after being held for 10 days.

There are two different types of sales on Open Loot. The Marketplace offers an active community of players who are buying and selling items with each other. These are referred to as Secondary Sales. However, Open Loot will regularly offer sales directly from the game developer. These are referred to as Primary Sales. Primary sales will have a specific start date and time when the items become available for purchase and are sold as first-come-first-serve.
Some Primary sales will have a whitelist where an exclusive community of players will have access to the sale earlier than the general public. Follow your game's X account and join their Discord community to learn more about whitelisting opportunities.
Make sure to be logged in at least 5 minutes before the sale begins, with your 2FA enabled, to ensure a smooth purchasing process.
Once the sale starts, items will move quickly. Make sure you have enough funds in your account to afford to purchase the desired amount of items. Once the sale's allocated number of items has been sold out, the sale is over!
Premium Currencies are special in-game currencies used to buy items, cosmetics, or participate in certain activities within Open Loot partner games. Unlike NFTs or blockchain tokens, Premium Currencies are off-chain, they exist only within the game and Open Loot marketplace ecosystem.
Depending on the game, these currencies can be granted, purchased, traded, or converted.
Games can have one or more types of premium currencies.
You can identify the type of a premium currency by the button options available for it on the marketplace (for example, “Purchase”, “Buy” and “Sell”, or “Convert”).
Premium Currencies are off-chain. Only convertible currencies can be consumed in exchange for blockchain tokens.
Each game defines its own economy, including how players can get, trade, or convert these currencies.

Open Loot VIP tiers provide users with exclusive privileges, including reduced transaction costs, special airdrops, unique features, and more. VIP tier access is determined by two main factors:
30-Day Open Loot Activity Score: This score is calculated as a weighted sum of all marketplace activities over the past 30 days. Activity weights vary depending on the type. Purchases made using $OL on the Open Loot marketplace contribute 30% more efficiently to the activity score.
30-Day Average $OL Balance: This balance is calculated by recording the minimum $OL balance in each user's account daily, then averaging these daily minimums over a 30-day period.
These values determine the appropriate VIP tier for each Open Loot account. The VIP tier will correspond to the lower tier of the two factors mentioned above. Please see the table below for detailed information on each tier:
Transaction Discount: This discount percentage applies to USD-value of purchases made on the Marketplace. The discount only applies if the user pays with $OL.
Note: VIP Activity Score and $OL Balance calculations are based on data from the previous day and reflect activity over the prior 30 days. If a user completes a transaction today that qualifies them for a higher tier, the discount for that higher tier will apply to transactions starting tomorrow.

The $OL token is the primary cryptocurrency for the Open Loot platform. It allows users to purchase items on the Open Loot Marketplace.
